Our Commitment to You During COVID-19

Following the latest Government announcement, Border Safeguard understand the need to prioritise the health and well-being of our staff, family, friends and valued customers.

As a result, we are not carrying out any routine system inspections or installations until further notice.

Only reactive emergency call outs and works will be undertaken at this time in line with industry guidance.

Our staff are all working remotely and are in a position to answer and assist on any systems related issues you may have and will offer a solution as required at this time. Our customers can rest assured that we remain committed and fully resourced to support you and your business through this uncertain time.

Happily our staff are all working remotely and we are still able to offer the following services:

  • Desktop Sales Advice
  • Remote Surveys
  • System Reviews

Initial consultation advice will be given by phone, so please take this opportunity to reach out to us, even just to have a chat. Initial contact should be made by email at info@bordersafeguard.co.uk and you can be assured you will be contacted by return in due course by a team member.

In the meantime we hope that you and your family stay safe.

Stay safe and take care.

Company statement - 24/03/20

Border Safeguard Ltd is continuing to work to Government guidelines and is dedicated to ensuring that we carry on protecting our staff and customers as far as possible. We also want to ensure that we continue to offer service and support to our customers. We are still operating as usual (although under slightly and somewhat restricted conditions!) and will continue to support our customers as reasonably practical in light of the current circumstances.

Staff that can work from home are now doing so or will be imminently. Our service support engineers will continue to be available to assist our customers. Our team will continue to work with all our customers as far and as reasonably possible to ensure continued compliance with their systems and ongoing provision to their systems.

We ask that all customers contact us in the usual manner however email is currently the most reliable form of communication, so we’d ask that you use that over direct dial numbers for the time being where ever possible. Please contact us using info@bordersafeguard.co.uk.

In these unsettling times we thank you for your continued support, understanding and patience.

The whole team at Border Safeguard would like to send our best wishes to our customers, suppliers and staff – along with their families – and are wishing that you all stay fit and well.

Company statement - 18/03/20

At Border Safeguard Ltd, protecting our customers’ safety and securing their properties has been our priority for 40 years. Amid the concerns surrounding COVID-19, this remains our top priority. At Border Safeguard Ltd, we help protect what matters most, and nothing is more important to us than the safety of our customers and employees.

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our communities, we are following guidance from government and medical professionals. As a company that is in the life safety business, we are always working to help keep you and our employees safe, healthy and protected and during this difficult period this does not change.

24/7 Intruder & Fire Detection Monitoring Support

Keeping our customers and employees protected is our top priority. To date, there have been no interruptions to any monitoring capabilities or service within the UK. We are taking extra precautions to avoid disruptions to our business operations and remain confident in our teams and infrastructure. We are equipped with extensive resources with our chosen business partners and there monitoring centres, each of whom have backup facilities to continue to provide 24/7 support and monitoring protection service.

Continuing to Deliver for You

Your need for security and fire detection doesn’t stop during difficult times, and neither do we. Our service team is ready to respond if you have any service needs. At this time and until further notice we will continue to operate as normal until advised otherwise.

Our Engineers and Sales Force

We’re taking care of our engineers and salespeople by asking all team members who may be sick to stay at home. Additional safety and cleaning supplies have been distributed to our teams with instructions for increased precautions before entering your home or business.

In addition, we adhere to our business continuity management practices, ensuring all departments have an established response plan in place should we face such an event like we are currently.

Specifically, with COVID-19, we have taken additional steps to communicate with and prepare our employees to ensure we keep each other and our customers safe.

Steps we have taken include:

  • Communication to help keep our employees informed and aware of steps they can take related to increased hand-washing and other hygiene best practices during this difficult period
  • Providing additional supplies including hand sanitiser and gloves, especially for those that interact directly with our customers
  • Providing assurances that employees can and should stay home if they believe they are sick
  • Working closely with local officials and health experts to stay up to date as information evolves

COVID-19 is not the first epidemic or crisis we have faced. We stand ready to support our customers and our employees to protect what matters most: each other.

We are also asking our customers, with whom we have scheduled appointments with, to notify us if they begin to feel sick, have been in contact with anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19, or have travelled recently so we can take the necessary precautions. The safety and security of our customers and employees is our greatest priority, and we are taking specific precautions to protect both. We will continue to protect our existing and new customers with new installations and service appointments until advised otherwise by government. We have had no interruptions in our ability to serve our customers.

We understand the rapidly evolving situation is causing uncertainty and we are encouraging all of our staff and customers to put their health and wellbeing first so that we can continue to operate effectively and help prevent the spread of disease.

We will be in touch with regular updates as the situation unfolds visit this webpage and via our Facebook page. In the meantime wish you all well.

Thank you for being a loyal Border Safeguard Ltd customer.
